Thales has announced a partnership with TXT, Université Laval and the Consortium de recherche et d'innovation en aérospatiale au Québec (CRIAQ) for the Autonomie des Mobilités Aériennes du Futur (AMAF) project.

The aim of this project is to increase and structure the autonomy of advanced air mobility aircraft, 'a fast-growing aerospace sector in which colossal R&D investments are being made worldwide'.

As part of this project, Thales and TXT propose to design the autonomy components for the aerospace of the future, drawing on joint expertise in digital, AI, critical systems design and simulation.
