Butterfield named 'Best Private Bank' in Cayman

Dec 02 2021

George Town, Grand Cayman - 2 December 2021: Butterfield Bank (Cayman) Limited ("Butterfield") has been awarded "Best Private Bank 2022" in the Cayman Islands and Bermuda by Global Finance, a leading corporate finance publication headquartered in New York.

Global Finance's annual Private Bank Awards recognises banks that best serve the specialised needs of high‐net‐worth individuals as they seek to enhance, preserve and pass on their wealth. The editorial board selects the winners with input from executives and industry insiders based on submissions in addition to independent research. This year's ratings were based on performance during the period covering July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021.

Mike McWatt, Managing Director of Cayman, said, "We are proud that Global Finance has chosen to recognise us once again. Our private banking team continues to differentiate itself offering clients personalised financial services including asset management, which sees independent reviews regularly place our performance in the 1st or 2nd quartile, and a multi‐jurisdiction trust network. I congratulate the team and thank our clients for their valued loyalty."
