Tintri, Inc. Appoints Michael Lombardo as Vice President of Channel Sales for Americas and Federal

Tintri, Inc. announced the appointment of Michael Lombardo as Vice President of Channel Sales for Americas and Federal. Lombardo brings to Tintri more than 20 years of channel leadership and will be responsible for overseeing all national account teams and channel sales. Lombardo joins Tintri on the heels of major product releases, including the EC6000 all-flash series and Tintri Cloud Connector for integrating Tintri with AWS and IBM Cloud Object Storage. At Tintri, Lombardo will work to expand channel awareness of Tintri’s products and to engage partners through Tintri’s programs, training and cloud certifications. With an extensive background in sales management and channels, Lombardo has led teams selling data center solutions for EMC, Cisco, NetApp and most recently Simplivity. In his role at NetApp, he recruited and grew several of their global resellers and teamed with Cisco to bring FlexPOD to market. While at Simplivity, he helped build a 100% channel model, drove field sales interlock on a ‘meet in the channel’ solution with Cisco, Lenovo and Dell, and created a National Partner Program. Lombardo has a track record of pioneering new programs and pathways to market through healthy partnerships.
