U and I Group PLC Appoints Marcus Shepherd as Chief Financial and Operating Officer; Announces Interim Dividend, Payable on 20 December 2019

With effect from November 20, 2019, U and I Group PLC has appointed Marcus Shepherd (formerly Chief Financial Officer) as Chief Financial and Operating Officer under the combined title of CFOO. By combining these roles, the company can give single point accountability for the delivery of efficiencies programme.

The Board has declared an unchanged interim dividend of 2.4 pence per share, which will be payable on 20 December 2019 to shareholders on the register on 29 November 2019. The interim dividend in respect of the six-month period to 30 September 2019 will be recorded in the financial statements for the year ending 31 March 2020.
