Benchmark Communities (“Benchmark” or “the Company”), a leading national homebuilder known for its industry-leading approach to customer service, is excited to announce that once again, it was one of the strongest performing homebuilders in the Eliant Homebuyers’ Choice Awards competition, winning 16 awards across multiple categories in 2017. With this impressive total, Benchmark ranked in the top-four in total awards collected for the third consecutive year.

“Our repeated success in this prestigious competition is something that we truly value, as it reflects the great importance we place on ensuring our customers have a memorable and enjoyable home buying experience,” said Ralph Baja, National Director of Customer Relations and Process Improvement at Benchmark Communities. “Our customers are our lifeblood, and we are very appreciative of their feedback and candor, which have been fundamental in helping us become a brand synonymous with trust and satisfaction.”

For 21 years, Eliant, the nation’s leading provider of customer experience management services, has been conducting the Homebuyers’ Choice Awards, which is widely regarded among industry professionals as the gold standard for measuring customer satisfaction. Over 155 homebuilders across the U.S. and Canada participated in this year’s competition, and winners were chosen based on the feedback of more than 106,000 recent homebuyers.

Among the coveted awards Benchmark received in the 2017 competition was the Overall Purchase & Ownership Experience Award for the Multi-Division category, which the Company also won in 2016. Furthermore, Benchmark ranked in the top-10 in the following categories:

  • Proactive Communication of Construction Progress
  • Jobsite Cleanliness
  • Design Selection Perceived Value
  • Warranty Service: Repairs Completed Right the First Time
  • Proactive Communication of Loan Status

Benchmark also received numerous awards in the categories for Large Volume (126-275 closings) and Medium Volume (<125 closings), including:

  • Purchase Experience (Large and Medium Volume)

In addition to the company award categories, several Benchmark’s team members were individually recognized for their hard work and positive impact on the homebuilding industry. “Each month, as I review the ratings and comments coming from thousands of homebuyers from across the country, it is clear that Benchmark Communities’ homebuyers are an unusually positive group,” said Bob Mirman, Chief Executive Officer of Eliant. “It is, therefore, not at all surprising that Benchmark Communities has quickly become one of the country’s highest rated homebuilders. No one knows more about the Benchmark customer experience than Benchmark homebuyers, and I continue to be impressed by the consistency with which these buyers tell us they received an incredible purchase experience.
