The company representatives of Polskie Domy Drewniane (Polish Wooden Houses) and Unihouse SA as general contractor symbolically dug the first dirt with their ground-breaking shovel at the investment in Choroszcz in Rybacka Street. The preparations for laying the foundation slabs are currently underway at the construction site. Next, the general contractor's factory will run the construction process of houses constructed on a wooden frame. The prefabrication process will reduce the construction time by half. Completion of construction is scheduled for the end of 2021.

There are being constructed 10 single-family, semi-detached buildings and one service building in Choroszcz. The entire investment will be implemented based on the modern technology of prefabricated wooden frame, which guarantees, among others, reduction of carbon footprint and higher speed of construction. Currently at Rybacka Street, preparatory works for foundation slabs are underway.

- In line with our philosophy, the houses we build are both environmentally friendly and healthy for their residents. The buildings will owe their green characteristics and energy-efficiency to prefabrication and the use of wood, the only fully renewable construction material. The symbolic ground-breaking ceremony is an important moment for an investment. From now on, we officially count the time left to hand over the keys to the residents - says Andrzej Schleser, member of the Management Board for commercial cooperation of Polskie Domy Drewniane SA.
