Veidekke's Swedish subsidiary Arcona has been commissioned to carry out an
extensive renovation project at Södersjukhuset in Stockholm. The project is an
execution contract valued at approx. SEK 300 million, and the client is Region
Stockholm's property company Locum.

Preparatory work is already underway in the project, which will be carried out
in 2024 and 2025 and involves the renovation of approx. 11,300 square meters in
Södersjukhuset's buildings 17 and 18. The two buildings will be equipped to meet
today's requirements for modern care buildings, with improved floor plans and
upgraded technical systems. When the renovation is completed, the buildings will
house 168 new single rooms.

Arcona will deliver services from room design to installation work, with a focus
on ensuring that the buildings live up to the high standard required by the
healthcare system.

"At Arcona, we are very proud to have received this assignment. We are looking
forward to working with Locum again, after our successful construction of
building 72 at Södersjukhuset, which several of our current employees helped
complete five years ago, says Andreas Asplinger in Arcona.

The contract is included in the Q1 2024 order book.
