PETALUMA, Calif. - CamelBak, a global leader in personal hydration products and a Revelyst brand, announced the launch of the Podium Steel and Podium Titanium vacuum-insulated bike water bottle collection.

Joining the time-tested lineup of Podium squeeze bottles, the all-new vacuum-insulated construction offers a solution to a common problem that many cyclists encounter while riding their bike in the summer months - water that warms throughout the ride - by providing optimal thermal efficiency to keep the water a stable temperature for hours on end.

'We've all been there before, enjoying one of our favorite outdoor activities in the heat of the day, when nothing sounds better than a cold, refreshing sip of water,' says Jeffrey Tomasi, senior product manager at CamelBak. 'For cyclists, specifically, there was an opportunity to provide a better solution in the form of a bottle cage-specific design, so we took the silhouette of our time-tested Podium bottles and blended it with our best-in-class vacuum-insulation technology, to deliver a bottle that will retain icy cold water well beyond the duration of a long bike ride. In cycling, 'forever bikes' made of steel or titanium are commonplace, now, the same exists in the form of forever bottles.'

The Podium vacuum-insulated bottle collection is available in stainless steel in two popular sizes -18-ounce (MSRP $35) and 22-ounce (MSRP $40) - as well as an 18-ounce titanium option (MSRP $100). To provide users with an added form of self-expression, the Podium steel collection is available in six powder-coated colors to suit anyone's fancy and to provide the bottle with a durable finish, while the titanium model is available solely in a raw finish. Each bottle, regardless of size or finish is designed to fit seamlessly into any standard bike bottle cage for security on or off-road cycling.

Given the bottle's rigid design to achieve vacuum-insulated construction, CamelBak has created a cap that aesthetically matches the look of its squeezable Podium counterparts, but utilizes a different internal design with a straw to allow air to vent when the bottle is tipped, providing users with free-flowing water for easy sipping on the bike. To prevent loss of water while not being used, the cap features a simple twist design that can be operated with one hand, which completely seals the cap from any leaks.

'It's such a simple yet satisfying comfort to have cold water on a hot bike ride,' adds Tomasi. 'The Podium steel and titanium bottles are a welcomed addition to CamelBak's line of performance hydration products, and we're confident that our customers will appreciate the value they add to any adventure they take by bike.'

The new Podium Steel and Podium Titanium bottles are available now at authorized CamelBak resellers and at www.CamelBak.com. For more information about CamelBak, please visit www.camelbak.com.
