Chuck Cloninger Named UPPCO President

Ishpeming, MI - Ishpeming native Chuck Cloninger has been named president of Upper Peninsula Power Company (UPPCO) a subsidiary of Integrys Energy Group (NYSE: TEG). Cloninger also serves as president of Wisconsin Public Service (WPS). The announcement was made by Larry Borgard, president and COO-Utilities at Integrys, who also serves as chairman and CEO of WPS. Cloninger, who reports to Borgard, replaces Barbara Nick, who has been named president of Integrys subsidiaries Michigan Gas Utilities and Minnesota Energy Resources.

Prior to assuming the posts of president at WPS and UPPCO, Cloninger had been president of Minnesota Energy Resources Corporation and Michigan Gas Utilities. He began his career with Wisconsin Public Service Corporation in 1981 shortly after graduating from Michigan Technological University and is a 1976 graduate of Westwood High School. Mr. Cloninger will be based at the WPS headquarters in Green Bay, but will be a frequent visitor to the Upper Peninsula.
