Item 8.01 Other Events

On February 26, 2020, the Board of Directors of Wellesley Bancorp, Inc. (the "Company") declared a cash dividend on the Company's outstanding shares of stock. The dividend of $0.06 per share will be paid on March 23, 2020, to stockholders of record as of the close of business on March 9, 2020.

A copy of the press release announcing the cash dividend is included as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated herein by reference.
