AMSTERDAM, June 29 (Reuters) - Dutch Energy Minister Rob Jetten is talking to three suppliers to build two new nuclear power plants in the Netherlands, Dutch media agency ANP reported on Thursday.

Jette told parliament that it concerns the American company Westinghouse, the French state-owned company EDF and South Korea's KHNP.

The Netherlands is planning to build two new nuclear power plants by 2035 which will play an important role in the country's energy transition, as it aims to make its power production carbon neutral by 2040.
