RUGBY, UK, February 22, 2024 - A Call to ReWild, founded by Richard and Jane Godbehere in 2021, is making waves in the conservation community by offering innovative solutions to address the global biodiversity crisis.

With a mission to empower individuals to make a positive impact on the environment, A Call to ReWild provides training, mentoring and inspirational events to reconnect people with nature and ultimately reverse the climate crisis.

Richard Godbehere, a passionate advocate for biodiversity recovery, started this green initiative to combat the alarming decline in global wildlife. Initially inspired at the age of six by David Attenborough documentaries, and subsequently fuelled by the urgency highlighted in the Living Planet Report, Godbehere embarked on a journey to find practical solutions to the ecological challenges we face.

A Call to ReWild focuses on promoting connectivity and encouraging everyone to contribute to the restoration of nature. The organisation offers tiered educational programs, created with the aim of involving diverse segments of society in the rewilding movement.

Collaborating with rewilding charities, A Call to ReWild will provide practical training skills to clients, emphasising hands-on approaches to biodiversity recovery. Plus the organisation is committed to reinvesting membership fees into other rewilding charities to fuel further on the ground action into core natural landscapes and is exploring support for local wildlife rescue charities.

One of the key achievements of A Call to ReWild is the development of online rewilding resources, allowing participants to learn about conservation and biodiversity recovery from the comfort of their homes.

Richard Godbehere, with a Master's degree in Conservation Biology (Distinction) from the University of Derby, has transformed his passion for nature into a successful green startup. A Call to ReWild offers hope for a sustainable future, aiming to reverse the climate emergency through practical action and grassroots initiatives.

The organisation hosts weekly webinars such as the Green Circle and The Wild Bunch, fostering an online community dedicated to environmental conservation.

Co-founder Jane Godbehere, Richard's wife, played a crucial role in the establishment of A Call to ReWild. Her commitment to the cause is evident in her decision to return to nursing to support Richard in pursuing his degree in Conservation Biology, despite having to overcome multiple chronic conditions, including Ehlers Danlos Syndrome.

In the face of the joint biodiversity and climate crises, Richard Godbehere believes that rewilding is the key to nature recovery. A Call to ReWild encourages individuals to take action by rewilding at home or at work, believing that everyone has the potential to change the world and shape a sustainable future.
