William Penn Bancorporation and William Penn Bank Appoints Amy J. Hannigan as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

On July 21, 2021, the Board of Directors of William Penn Bancorporation and its wholly owned subsidiary, William Penn Bank, appointed Amy J. Hannigan, the Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate Development of the Company and the Bank, to serve as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of the Company and the Bank, effective immediately. Ms. Hannigan, age 54, has served as Executive Vice President and Director of Corporate Development of the Company and the Bank since May 10, 2021. Prior to joining the Company and the Bank, Ms. Hannigan served as Senior Vice President and Corporate Controller of WSFS Financial Corporation, the parent company of WSFS Bank, from March 2019 to May 2021.
Ms. Hannigan joined WSFS Financial Corporation following its March 2019 acquisition of Beneficial Bancorp Inc., the parent company of Beneficial Bank, where Ms. Hannigan served as Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer from March 2010 to March 2019.
William Penn Bancorporation is a bank holding company. The Company, through its subsidiary, William Penn Bank (Bank) provides one-to four-family residential real estate mortgage loans, home equity lines of credit, construction residential and one- to-four-family investor commercial real estate, non-residential real estate, multi-family and construction and land loans. The Company offers traditional banking and related financial services to individual, business, and government customers. Through its branch network, the Bank offers an array of commercial and retail financial services, including the taking of time, savings and demand deposits; the making of commercial and mortgage loans, and the providing of other financial services.
