Visit from the delegation of Ecuadorsovereign homeland union movement cadres

On the morning of August 29, Mr. Zhang Xiang, member of standing committee of WISCO party committee, trade union chairman, met with the delegation of Ecuadorsovereign homeland union movement cadres headed by the executive secretary Ms. Doris Soliz Carrion.

At first, Mr. Zhang Xiang expressed greetings and warm welcome to the delegation on behalf of the Chairman of WISCO Group and party secretary Mr. Deng Qilin, and briefly reviewed WISCO's undertakings in 3-periods as well as the situations in the aspects of transformation adjustment, deepening reformation, and care about staff's dreams, etc. Mr. Zhang also made detail introduction of the achievements, experiences and measures for self transformation development of WISCO during the adjustment ofChina's steel industry. He also gave further introduction to the election and propaganda of "The Most Beautiful Stuffs of WISCO", which were interested by the delegation members. Mr. Zhang pointed out the national conditions, development paths, languages and cultures are different, but in the process of the development adjustment and deepening reform, both sides will face many similar problems, therefore developing the cooperation between binational related areas and enterprises will be favorable for both sides to learn from each other, share development experience, as well as common development and progress.

Ms. Carrion introduced the basic situation in the field of national economic construction inEcuador, and expressed sincere thanks to WISCO's warm reception and congratulations to the outstanding achievements in the steel field made by WISCO. She said: Currently Ecuador is undergoing a period of economic transformation, and during the process from raw material export to industrialization, WISCO's experience and measures in the fields of culture construction and enterprise propaganda are worth to learn byEcuador, we would like to enhance the exchange and cooperation with WISCO to increase mutual understanding and friendship.
