Ienakiievs'kyi Metalurhiinyi Zavod PAT : Metinvest pays UAH 7.4 billion in taxes during first six months of 2015

Metinvest Group's enterprises paid UAH 7.4 billion in taxes and duties to government budgets at various levels during the first six months of 2015.

Specifically, VAT transfers (advance payments) amounted to UAH 2.6 billion, single social payments from enterprises: UAH 1.3 billion, mineral taxes: UAH 532 million, environmental taxes: UAH 163 million, etc.

Yuriy Ryzhenkov, Metinvest Group's Chief Executive Officer:

"Metinvest has always been and remains a socially responsible company and an exemplary taxpayer. We are in full compliance with Ukrainian legislation, including on territories where the armed conflict is taking place. We are also fulfilling our social obligations to our employees. In the last two years, we increased salaries three times: once this year by 25% and twice last year by 10% and by 7%."
