Ymagis Société Anonyme reported earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2016. For the period, the company reported that it maintained its strong growth momentum, reporting revenues up by +13% at EUR 178.2 million, primarily due to the acquisition of businesses completed both in 2015 and 2016. EBIDTA in 2016 was down 10% at EUR 48 million, representing 27% of revenues compared to 38% on 31 December 2015, primarily due to the full-year integration of Eclair, the payroll increase (+40%) as well as other purchases and external expenses (+34%). Consumed purchases mainly relating to CinemaNext's activities are stable and in line with the usual level of business. Income operations (REBIT) were up 18% at EUR 9.4 million compared to 8 million for the previous year period, due to lower charges related to depreciation and amortization which fell from EUR 45.2 million in 2015 to EUR 38.6 million in 2016, taking into account the first VPF recoupments both in Austria (268 screens during third quarter of 2015) and in Poland (89 screens during first quarter of 2016). Total loss before tax (EBT) are at EUR 6.2 million compared to EUR 1.4 million for the previous year period. Net loss group share was EUR 11.7 million against EUR 0.6 million a year ago.
