Zygo Receives Order in Excess of $3 Million From Major Medical Device Company for High Precision Lens Assemblies

MIDDLEFIELD, Conn., Apr 12, 2012 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX) --Zygo Corporation (Nasdaq:ZIGO), a worldwide supplier of optical metrology instruments and high precision optical systems, today announced that its Optical Systems Division was awarded an order in March valued at more than $3 million by a major medical device company to produce high precision lens assemblies. The order will be manufactured by Zygo's Electro-Optics group in its Tucson, Arizona and Costa Mesa, California facilities.
