DGAP-Ad-hoc: 2G Energy AG / Key word(s): Preliminary Results Sales and earnings forecast exceeded after successful year-end business 2G Energy AG (ISIN DE000A0HL8N9), an international manufacturer of gas-fired combined heat and power (CHP) plants, has achieved consolidated sales of approximately EUR 189 million based on now consolidated, but still unaudited single-entity financial statements. The reason for exceeding the sales forecast of EUR 180 million is the high proportion of CHP projects that were finalised at the end of the year. This effect resulted in particular from the closer interconnection between 2G Energietechnik GmbH and its foreign subsidiaries. The Management Board had previously expected the EBIT margin to range between 3.0 % and 3.5 %. On the basis of the available figures, the EBIT margin is expected to increase in proportion to sales growth to up to 4 %. In the previous year, the EBIT margin was 3.2 %.
