ACE Group today announced the appointment of Joe Crowther as Global Client Executive in the ACE Construction Industry Practice. In this new role, Mr. Crowther will work collaboratively with a select group of ACE’s construction clients and distribution partners to provide access to a broad range of customized global risk management solutions across various construction product lines. Based in Philadelphia, in his role as Global Client Executive, Mr. Crowther will report to John Alfieri, Division President, Global Accounts, North America, ACE Group, and Division President, ACE USA Regional Operations. In his role supporting the ACE Construction Industry Practice, he will collaborate with William P. Hazelton, Executive Vice President, ACE Construction Industry Practice.

ACE’s Global Client Executive practice was established in 2010 to complement the company’s existing strategies to better partner with clients and brokers who value a single point of contact in accessing ACE’s multiline, global network of products and services. Led by Joseph Clabby, Division President, Global Accounts, ACE Group, the Global Accounts Division was launched in 2013 to serve large multinational customers around the globe with complex underwriting and servicing needs.

“Joe’s proven track record for building relationships and collaborating with large clients, and his extensive experience in serving the unique and complex claims and risk management challenges faced by the construction industry, will ensure his success in engaging with ACE’s clients and distribution partners,” said Mr. Alfieri.

With more than 26 years of experience in the construction insurance industry, Mr. Crowther most recently served as Vice President, ACE Construction Claims Client Executive, where he was responsible for developing and maintaining relationships between clients and producers and the ACE North American Claims organization. He has also served as Vice President, Construction Claims Practice Leader for the primary construction book of business, where he established best practices for achieving successful claims outcomes. Mr. Crowther previously held senior leadership account management and claims positions focusing on the construction industry for several global carriers. He is a graduate of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Management, and a M.B.A. from Rutgers University, in New Jersey. He holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriting (CPCU) and Associate in Claims (AIC) professional insurance designations.
