Recognition confirms successful approach of integrating sustainability into global business operations.

Herzogenaurach, 11 September 2014 - For the 15th consecutive time, adidas AG has been selected to join the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI), the world's first global sustainability index family tracking the performance of the leading sustainability-driven companies worldwide. In the "Textiles, Apparel & Luxury Goods Industry", adidas AG was rated as industry best in the categories "Supply Chain Management", "Product Stewardship" and "Stakeholder Engagement".

The results of the annual DJSI review were announced today by RobecoSAM, a global investment group focused exclusively on sustainability investing, in collaboration with S&P Dow Jones Indices. The indices serve as benchmarks for investors integrating sustainability considerations into their portfolios, and provide an effective engagement platform for companies who want to adopt sustainable best practices.

We are honoured that the adidas Group has been listed in the DJSI for 15 consecutive years. This clearly pays recognition to the company's efforts to integrate sustainability thinking into our business strategy.
