HONG KONG, 27 Oct, 2014 - Advanced Card Systems Ltd. (ACS, a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Card Systems Holdings Ltd., SEHK: 8210), Asia Pacific's top supplier and one of the world's top 3 suppliers of PC-linked smart card readers (Source: Frost & Sullivan), will be a speaker and exhibitor in Cartes Secure Connexions, to be held on Nov 4 to 6. The event will be in Halls 3 and 4 of the Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, in Paris, France.

This year's event will mainly highlight how current devices, services, and systems are built to reinforce user mobility. To this end, Ms. Zoe Ko, ACS's Manager for Sales and Marketing, will speak in the session, "NFC/HCE, a Successful Connected Commerce" on Nov 6. Zoe's topic will be "Advocating NFC Technology Towards Connected Commerce."

ACS will show a demo of its latest contactless reader, the ACR1252. ACR1252 is one of the first readers in the industry certified by the NFC Forum to be interoperable with other NFC devices and capable of performing all three NFC modes.

Two new comers in mobile card reader line will be displayed: the ACR32, which supports magnetic stripe cards and contact smart cards; and the ACR35, which supports magnetic stripe cards and NFC tags. ACS will also exhibit ACR890, a handheld smart card terminal with a PIN-pad, printer, and touchscreen; and CryptoMate Nano, a cryptographic USB token that weighs only a little over four grams.
