NEW YORK, NY / ACCESSWIRE / February 21, 2018 / U.S. markets all closed in the red on Tuesday, with the Dow and the S&P 500 breaking a 6 day win streak as Walmart posted its worst decline since January 1988. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 1.01 percent to close 24,964.75, while the S&P 500 Index declined 0.58 percent to close at 2,716.26. The Nasdaq Composite Index dipped 0.07 percent to close at 7,234.31. Concerns over higher interest rates have slowed the market?s bull run in recent weeks.

"In the medium-to-long term, higher interest rates will be a concern for the market," said Zhiwei Ren, managing director and portfolio manager with Penn Mutual Asset Management. "But I don't think that's going to kill this bull market."
