Advanced Semiconductor Engineering : ASE Receives 2014 BSI GRC Exemplary Award

Taipei, December 18, 2014 -  Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (TAIEX: 2311, NYSE: ASX) today announced that it has received an Exemplary Award at the annual GRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance) management strategy awards event organized by the BSI Group Taiwan.

The annual 2014 awards event was held on Dec 11, 2014 in Taipei covering views and strategies from global leaders in diverse industry segments on the topics of 'Technology Risks' and 'Managing Sustainability'. A total of 67 Taiwan-based companies were commended at the event. ASE is honored to be recognized for its efforts in adopting world class standards to achieve corporate sustainability and; to manage business risks and improve the environment.
