[Attachment] At the Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv from 7th to 9th May, a large demonstration exercise of the security services called 'Pelikan' was held. Invitation of Israeli airport authorities and Ben Gurion Airport management to attend the largest and most important exercise of special units in the world, besides fifty delegates from all over the world, is accepted by Sasa Vlaisavljevic, acting General Director of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport and Director of Security, Vladimir Mićić.

The aim of the exercise is to test the response in emergencies, that is, coordination, communication, actions and response time. All relevant institutions of the state of Israel, police, military, airport and other specialized services, several hundred direct participants, as well as the Boeing 747 aircraft, a military transport helicopter for transporting injured and a large number of police vehicles, military, airport and city services participated in the exercise. A carefully planned exercise, for which the preparations lasted for almost a year, was perfectly realized, confirming that Israeli security and other services are among the most professional and most organized in the world.

Upon completion of the exercise, the hosts organized for Saša Vlaisavljević and Vladimir Mićić a tour of the airport and presentation of certain training simulators and protection systems. At the end of the visit, representatives of Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport were invited to attend the next exercise next year.
