Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. July 21, 2015.- ALFA, S.A.B. de C.V. ("ALFA") announced today unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2015 ("2Q15"). Revenues amounted to U.S. $4,218 million, up 5% year-on-year. EBITDA1 was U.S. $654 million, an increase of 28% year-on-year.

Commenting on the quarter's results, Mr. Alvaro Fernandez, ALFA's President, noted: "We achieved EBITDA of U.S. $654 million due to the combination of more robust margins, efficiency improvements and some non-recurring gains. This represents a 28% increase year-on-year. Alpek and Sigma were standouts in the quarter, with EBITDA increasing more than 50% year-on-year. To a lesser extent, Nemak, Alestra and Newpek also contributed to the quarter's achievement."

As of June 30, 2015, ALFA's Net Debt totaled U.S. $5,443 million, U.S. $262 million above than 1Q15. The higher debt was attributable to capital expenditures and acquisitions in the quarter. At quarter end, ALFA's financial condition remained strong: the Net Debt to EBITDA ratio was 2.4 times, and the Interest Coverage ratio was 6.5 times.

Majority Net Income totaled U.S. $183 million in 2Q15, compared to a Majority Net Income of U.S. $147 million in 2Q14. Better operating results in 2Q15 drove the increase.
