Alfa S.A.B. de C.V. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was MXN 87,698.19 million compared to MXN 82,011.92 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 4,862.83 million compared to net loss of MXN 3,503.77 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.97. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was MXN 0.97. Basic earnings per share was MXN 0.99 compared to basic loss per share of MXN 0.71 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was MXN 0.99.
For the full year, sales was MXN 363,864.14 million compared to MXN 296,803.05 million a year ago. Net income was MXN 11,723.27 million compared to MXN 4,105.99 million a year ago.
