Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba), a leading employer in the Kingdom of Bahrain, in line with its initiative to invest in the Education and People Development, held a training workshop titled 'MBA's Role in Sustaining Alba's Competitiveness', last week at Alba Club.

Aimed at sharing knowledge and experience gained during the MBA course, the workshop comprised presentations of Executives, Directors and Managers from various departments who shared their experience and memorable moments from their MBA program journey.

Alba's Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray led the workshop and presented his very own MBA journey at Vanderbilt University, US. He spoke about the lessons, challenges and milestones achieved during that period. He also gave a brief about Alba's MBA programme and the outcomes achieved in the last couple of years.

Speaking at this workshop, Murray said: 'There is nothing more valuable than education; it is a journey that never stops. Alba recognises that a strong learning culture helps build a productive workforce, which is significant for any successful company. The workshop was successful and helped our MBA graduates to share their knowledge, and reveal their well-rounded communication skills and ability for strategic thinking to enhance productivity and contribution at work.'
