AMP has won four categories at the second annual CoreData Self-Managed Super Fund (SMSF) Service Provider Awards.

The SMSF awards, presented in Sydney on 4 September, are designed to recognise the best service providers as rated by SMSF trustees and SMSF-advising financial planners and accountants.

AMP won awards in the following categories:

  • SMSF Administrator (adviser): Cavendish
  • SMSF Administrator (member): AMP SMSF Solutions
  • Investment Platforms (member): AMP Flexible Super
  • Insurance (member): AMP

AMP SMSF Managing Director Natasha Fenech said: "I'm delighted that AMP's SMSF businesses were well represented in the list of nominees and winners for CoreData's annual SMSF awards.

"This is a highly fragmented market and it's changing all the time, with new technology improving customer service and the way SMSF services are delivered. More financial advisers, as well as accountants, are looking for a partner such as AMP to help with the demands of their SMSF clients.

"SMSF is a key growth area for our business and we are proud to offer a full complement of services to trustees, advisers and accountants alike, from end-to-end administration services and residential property loans through AMP Bank to insurance and a range of AMP Capital investment options such as Australian shares, international shares and fixed interest.

"We are focused on ensuring our offer meets the needs of the fast-growing SMSF sector and we will continue to refine, improve and add to it."

The finalists and winners are decided using results from CoreData's annual SMSF service provider study.

The study of more than 1200 SMSF trustees, financial planners and accountants that advise on SMSFs was conducted between 14 July and 24 August 2014.
