Jakarta, December 31, 2014 - PT ANTAM (Persero) Tbk (ASX - ATM; IDX - ANTM; ANTAM) is pleased to announce that the company unveiled the Fruit Centre Initiative as part of the company's corporate sustainability responsibility (CSR) in the development of local economy on December 29, 2014. ANTAM's General Affair (GA) and CSR Director I Made Surata and the Regent of Bogor Nurhayanti were present at the launching ceremony located in ANTAM's Gold Mining Business Unit in Pongkor, Nanggung District, Bogor Regency, West Java Province.

ANTAM's GA and CSR I Made Surata said:
"The launching of the Fruit Centre Initiative aims to inspire entrepreneurship as part of our CSR programs in the development of local economy. The initiative is also inline with our main program in the region, that is to create an agrogeotourism region through the empowerment of farming and plantation potentials at Nanggung."

The Fruit Centre Initiative is launched through the planting of 30,000 trees in four villages in Nanggung District. Since 2012, ANTAM has planted more than 95,000 trees comprising of mangosteen, avocado and guava in eight villages in the Nanggung District.

During the same event, ANTAM also officially closed the 2014 community development program with the exhibition from ANTAM's small and medium enterprises business partners, workshop of wood carving and food bazaar
