Generali Group ranked ninth in the CSR Online Awards Italy ranking with a score of 47.50, improving its thirteenth position of last year edition and entering the Top 10 of Italian companies standing out in the sustainability sector.

The survey, promoted along with a larger study at European level involving more than 250 companies, evaluated the forefront 100 Italian companies in the digital communication (80 listed e 20 not listed). The analysis aims at evaluating the way companies use owned digital channels, including both websites and social media, to inform and involve stakeholders in terms of corporate social responsibility.

The survey brings out how companies have a more mature approach in their way to communicate sustainability issues, confirming an increased consideration given to narrative elements and to the integration of the different communication channels, including a wider use of social media. The 20.5% of contents posted on Twitter talk about issues related to sustainability.
