Turning a hidden place into an artistic experience for the city. This is the innovative ambition of The Gallery, the new project promoted by Generali that gives to the public of Milan, in the heart of CityLife district, a new model of underground station that works at the same time as a display of new artists' artworks, featuring people and their stories. The underground station becomes in this way not only a place where people pass through but a truly single underground museum located in one of the most innovative spot of the city.
Tre Torri station tells its stories thanks to the works of Moreno De Turco, representing the daily routine of people travelling by subway, and of Emiliano Ponzi, who has illustrated the daily life of a big city, giving a harmonic vision of everyday life, in which travellers can reflect themselves.
Thanks to The Gallery, art and culture can enrich a space, CityLife, which is not only the major urbanistic project in Europe, but also the larger pedestrian area of Milan, including important elements of innovation and sustainability.
