Banco Sabadell has received the Ranstad Award, the award given to the most appealing bank to work for in Spain, along with BBVA and Banco Santander.

The Ranstad Award is a prize given by the Dutch multinational human resources evaluation company Randstad. For the past five years, they have been organizing this contest to recognize the three best companies in each country's different business sectors in terms of companies' policies toward reputation management and perception of current and potential employees. To choose the three best companies from each sector, ICMA creates the report "Randstad Employer Branding," that factors in the opinions of 8,000 professionals from multiple areas of businesses in the country.

For Xavier Vela, this award "has a very special value to the extent that the Employer Branding report is an external reflection of the value proposition that human resources builds each day for our employees. It is an award that we share with all the areas of the bank that contribute each day to our branding image and it helps us promote ourselves to external candidates that want to join our company."

Other recognitions

The Ranstad Award is one of many recognitions received by Banco Sabadell in terms of human resources, like the "100 Best Ideas", awarded by Actualidad Economica in 2011 for the "Laude" training program, or the "Human Resources Innovation award" given by Expansion & Empleo in 2008 for the "In Shape" program, aimed at boosting commercial activity of the branches.

These distinctions for outstanding work in the area of managing employees are confirmed by the high level of respect that the more than 16,000 employees of the bank show for the institution. 85% of the employees confirm being proud of the milestones reached by the company and more than 75% say that they feel proud when they say they work for Banco Sabadell.
