Banco Macro and Banco Galicia announce the successful placement of the Province of Neuquén Treasury Bonds

Buenos Aires, March 2, 2015. The Government of the Province of Neuquén successfully placed Provincial Treasury Bonds in the amount of ARS$ 500 million in the Argentine financial market.

In the frame of the Treasury Bonds Issue Program Issued by Provincial Decree No. 203/15, the Ministry of Economy and Public Works launched two new tender programs for an aggregate amount of ARS$ 500 million.

The payment of the bonds is executed by means of an irrevocable agency of the Province to withhold the necessary amounts from the funds stemming from the Federal Taxes Co-Sharing Program (Coparticipación Federal de Impuestos). Class 1 and Class 2 Bonds, denominated in Argentine pesos, mature 180 days from the date of issue thereof and 270 days from the date of issue thereof, respectively.

Bids were received for an amount in excess of ARS$ 670 million, through Mercado Abierto Electrónico S.A., the amount of ARS$ 250.7 million being awarded, at a cutoff rate of 29.14% for Class 1, with an apportionment factor of 29.72%. Whereas, under Class 2, the amount of US$ 249.3 million was awarded at a cutoff rate of 29.90% nominal annual, amounting to an aggregate of ARS$500 million.

In both cases, the arrangers and placement agents were Banco Provincia del Neuquén SA, Banco Galicia y Buenos Aires SA and Banco Macro SA. Quantum Finanzas acted as financial advisor for the Province of Neuquén.
