Buenos Aires, November 17, 2015. Latin Finance, the prestigious U.S. magazine, has acknowledged, as each year, the outstanding achievements of commercial and investment banks that operate in Latin America and the Caribbean, this time selecting Banco Macro as the 'Best Argentine Bank of the year 2015'. The Bank had been awarded this prize in 2009 and 2013.

Macro is the only Bank that can show 55 successive quarters of profits. The net result of the third quarter of 2015 amounted to AR$1,104.6 million, 34% higher than the AR$822.7 million in profits recorded in the second quarter 2015 and 12% higher than the AR$985.5 million recorded in the third quarter 2014. The total financing to the private sector increased by 10% in comparison with the second quarter 2015 and by 35% in comparison with the third quarter 2014.

From 1988, the magazine Latin Finance has been the most respected and reliable publication on banking and finance in and for Latin America and the Caribbean. The bank annually prepares a report on the performance of the Banks, granting awards for excellence and leadership to financial institutions in the region.

Banco Macro expresses its gratitude for this acknowledgment and for the incentive to continue growing with its people, who made this award possible.
