How can Barco's simulation solutions help bring the most realistic simulations to life? The over 3,000 professionals from the military, education and simulation sectors who'll be visiting the ITEC 2015 trade show in Prague (the Czech Republic) this week, will understand! Both at the Barco booth and at the stand of our numerous business partners, they will discover the power of our single-chip simulation projectors.

Flying over San Francisco

The eye-catcher at the Barco booth is, of course, the award-winning F50 projector. Launched in June 2014, the F50 is the world's first lamp-based, single-chip DLP® projector that combines native WQXGA (2,560 x 1,600) and Panorama (2,560 x 1,080) resolution with high frame rates (120hz). At ITEC, we are showcasing the F50 WQXGA in a two-channel blend using our new EN57 lens on a curved (spherical) screen. The content displayed illustrates a fly-over of San Francisco. It uses GenesisIG, courtesy of Antycip Simulation and Diamond Visionics, and is powered by NVidia and PNY graphics.

Helicopter flight

More than the F50, we're also presenting our F22 simulation projector. The ITEC set-up, featuring one F22 WUXGA in portrait mode, will show the visitors to our booth that the F22 is just the ticket for helicopter simulators with a higher vertical field of view. Many thanks to Bohemia Interactive for delivering the helicopter content (VBS3 database), courtesy of Immersive Display Solutions, for this application!

Reference beacon

Other projectors on show at ITEC include two 1-channel F35 projectors and an F85 projector, which both display marketing content. Beyond that, several Barco products are on show at countless partner booths, thus highlighting how Barco truly is a reference beacon in the world of simulation!
