Haselünne, April 7, 2017 - Oliver Schwegmann will succeed Frank Schübel as a member of the Executive Board of Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft, listed on the regulated market (General Standard) of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (ISIN: DE0005201602). In this position, he will assume responsibility for the Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain and Research and Development functions and will manage the Company together with long-standing CFO Ralf Brühöfner. Oliver Schwegmann (43) was born in Löningen in the Emsland region and studied Sports Economics. He has several years of management experience, in particular in Marketing and Sales, and worked for many years in executive roles at high-ranking companies such as Storck, Mars and Hero. His most recent position was that of Managing Director for L'Óreal's consumer goods division in Switzerland. The father of three will take up his new role as a member of the Executive Board of Berentzen-Gruppe Aktiengesellschaft on June 1, 2017.

He will succeed Frank Schübel, who is stepping away from operations at the Berentzen Group but will remain close to the Company and is putting himself forward for the Supervisory Board. His tenure as Executive Board Spokesman will end after the annual general meeting on May 19, 2017. Frank Schübel is very satisfied with this solution: 'Our plan was to continue the fundamental strategic direction of Berentzen Group while at the same time setting a new course for growth thanks to external impetus.
