GUTTENBERG, Iowa - Oct. 13, 2016 - Black Hills Energy is pleased to announce that Dennis McNeal has joined the company as a community service technician, serving Guttenberg and the surrounding area.

McNeal's responsibilities will include performing appliance repair and maintenance and working in partnership with the local operations team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the natural gas distribution system. McNeal also will represent Black Hills Energy by taking an active part in community events.

McNeal has extensive experience in appliance repair, most recently with A&E Factory Service. He also has experience with installation and service of heating, ventilation and air conditioning equipment.

'Dennis brings with him a solid background of appliance repair experience that will serve our company and our customers well,' said Allan 'Chip' Wical, operations supervisor for the Guttenberg area. 'Dennis enjoys working with the public and understands the importance of good customer service and being involved in his community. Customers can expect to receive the same great service from Dennis that they have come to rely on from Black Hills Energy over the years. We're very pleased to have Dennis join our team.'

McNeal attended Upper Iowa University in Fayette, Iowa, where he received a bachelor's degree with a double major in business and marketing. He has a diploma in heating, ventilation and air conditioning from Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, Iowa. He is Environmental Protection Agency universal-certified in refrigeration and air conditioning and licensed in Iowa for plumbing, heating and air conditioning. He lives in Guttenberg.
