At Box, we believe that every company should be able to realize the benefits of the cloud and we continue to break down the barriers to cloud adoption. Last month, we announced Box Zones, a breakthrough technology providing in-region data storage with Box, and raising the bar for privacy and control in the cloud.

Today, we're excited to announce that Box Zones is now generally available to our customers. Box Zones allows our existing customers to implement Box across more parts of their organizations and standardize all of their most valuable content on our platform.
Box Zones provides:
Choice of Storage Region - Choose a region, either in Europe or Asia, to store your data in Box
Adds to Other Box Solutions - Box Zones works in concert with other Box solutions, such as Box Governance, which allows businesses to set retention policies and meet compliance requirements, and Box KeySafe, a service that allows customers to manage their on encryption keys protecting their data.
No Change in the Box End-User Experience - All of this is done transparent to the Box end-user experience. Box's usability, governance, and mobile experiences do not change with Box Zones.
