Ivan Angelov, who was awarded Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) scholarships by BSE-Sofia, have successfully passed the Level I examination of the professional designation. For the three years, since BSE-Sofia awards the scholarship, all young and talented finance graduates have passed the exam and have found suitable employment on the Bulgarian capital market.
To apply for this year's scholarship competition, the applicants should send their documentation to Bulgarian Stock Exchange - Sofia not later than 8 September 2017. The two scholarships are granted within the initiatives of BSE-Sofia aiming at a better financial education in Bulgaria as the competition is held for the fourth consecutive year.
The scholarships will cover the early registration fee for taking the CFA Level I exam for first-time candidates only. The eligible candidates must have a bachelor's degree or be in the final year of their bachelor's degree program, or have four years of professional work experience. The competition is also open to applicants who meet the conditions by possessing a combination of education and professional work experience, gained in the past four years. All the requirements are made available on the website of BSE-Sofia.
The competition is conducted in two stages: Pre-selection based on the documents received, in order to admit only the candidates who meet the requirements, and a mock exam which will be held on 16 September 2017. The applicants have to submit a completed application form, a recent CV, an Academic Transcript and a motivation letter.
