Significant eventCaixaBank hereby reports that yesterday the Portuguese securities regulator ("CMVM") registered the prospectus of the public tender offer for the shares of Banco BPI, S.A. ("the Offer").
The acceptance period for the Offer will begin today and finalise on the 7th of February 2017. The consideration offered for the Banco BPI shares subject to the Offer is 1.134 Euros per share.
The prospectus can be reviewed in the web-sites of CaixaBank (www.caixabank.com) and CMVM (www.cmvm.pt) and at the legal addresses of CaixaBank and the financial intermediary for the Offer, Deutsche Bank AG, Portuguese Branch.
