Carrefour has just issued a call for innovative projects targeting French SMEs as part of the Carrefour SME Plan.

Carrefour is a long-time partner of SMEs and via the INNbox project is committing to providing them with its expertise, supporting and helping them to get their innovative food development projects off the ground.

The call for projects is aimed at all independent French SMEs, whether or not they are Carrefour suppliers.

The winners will receive support from Carrefour's business teams in a number of different areas: they will get advice and have access to Carrefour's expertise in quality matters, as well as design and packaging.

Go to innbox.carrefour.io and submit your application.

Deadline for submitting applications: 19 January 2018.

The winning SMEs for the 2016-2017 edition

>Algama - The company manufactures and markets food products using microalgae and has created 'the Good Spoon' - the first egg-free mayonnaise.

>Lorina - The company has created 'IN' - the first well-being soft drinks brand underpinned by different themes: vitality, antioxidant and relaxation.

>Compagnie Pâtissière -This family-run company makes innovative tarts and has created 'the Magic Tart' - a pastry base uses augmented reality.
