CBS ALL ACCESS EXPANDS LIVE COVERAGE TO 75% OF THE COUNTRY

Recent Affiliate Partnerships Bring Live Local Streaming on CBS All Access to 124 Markets

NEW YORK, N.Y. - July 16, 2015 - CBS Corporation announced today CBS All Access, CBS's digital subscription, video on demand and live streaming service, will be expanding its live local feeds to three-quarters of the U.S. through recent affiliate agreements covering 124 markets across the country.

To date, 40 affiliate groups have signed on to participate in the CBS All Access service in addition to the 14 owned-and-operated CBS stations that participated in CBS All Access' October 2014 launch.

The recent agreements with Media General, Scripps, Sinclair and other affiliate groups will bring CBS All Access' live offering to additional markets, including: Portland, OR; Providence, RI; Nashville, TN; Cincinnati, OH; and Albany-Schenectady, NY.

"We're very pleased that CBS All Access is rolling out its live local offering across the country ahead of schedule," said Ray Hopkins, President, Television Networks Distribution, CBS Corporation. "Our goal is to offer the service to consumers in every market in the near future, giving viewers everywhere the ability to watch their local CBS station whenever they want and on whatever platform is most convenient for them."

Of the 124 markets where CBS All Access has agreements, the local live offering is currently available in 59 markets, reaching more than 50 percent of the U.S., with new markets going live each week. The live linear feeds in many of the newly added markets will begin rolling out in the coming weeks.

The ability to live stream local CBS stations through CBS All Access is made available through Syncbak, in which CBS has a minority investment. Syncbak powers the delivery and geo-targeting of the live feeds to in-market subscribers.

In the markets that do not yet offer live-streaming of their local CBS station, CBS All Access subscribers still have access to more than 7,000 episodes on-demand via the CBS App for iOS and Android, on CBS All Access' Roku Channel, Chromecast and online at CBS.com, with additional connected devices being added in the coming months. CBS All Access' on-demand offering includes episodes from the current season - including full current seasons of 19 shows with episodes available after they air - as well as previous seasons and classic shows.
