AMY M. YOUNG NAMED VICE PRESIDENT, VIDEO ON DEMAND AND CONTENT DISTRIBUTION, CBS NETWORK SALES
Amy M. Young has been named Vice President, Video On Demand and Content Distribution, CBS Network Sales, it was announced today by Jo Ann Ross, President, CBS Network Sales, to whom she will report.
In this position, Young will be responsible for identifying and growing new revenue streams and opportunities for the Network Sales division, with a focus on multi-platform monetization. She will advise clients on advertising options available through Video On Demand as well as oversee the development of CBS' full VOD offering, including programming, strategic growth and marketing. In addition, she will act as liaison within the Company on multi-platform distribution and cross-platform rights.

Prior to her new role, Young worked in CBS's Television Networks Distribution division. Beginning in 2012, she served as Vice President, Business Development, where she oversaw VOD product and operations and led the MVPD Affiliate Marketing team. During her tenure, CBS gained VOD distribution to more than 50 million subscribers, launched Dynamic Ad Insertion (DAI) and VOD viewing was added to the C3 Nielsen ratings. Young also played a key role in negotiating retransmission consent agreements for CBS's owned and operated stations.
Before that, she spent six years as CBS Corporation's Director of Multi-Channel Relations, where she negotiated retransmission consent agreements for 29 stations and partnered with MVPDs on multi-platform marketing campaigns. Previously, Young served as National Account Manager, Affiliate Sales at the Oxygen Network from October 2005 to April 2006. Young joined CBS in 2002 as a Team Assistant for Affiliate Relations for CBS/UPN Network, where she was eventually promoted to Regional Manager in 2004.
Young is a graduate of Boston University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Communications.
