CANNES, FRANCE - Oct. 14, 2014 - CBS Studios International announced today agreements with prominent broadcasters from around the world for the broadcast rights to the latest additions of the world's most popular television franchises, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS and CSI: CYBER. The new spinoffs will be licensed in more than 200 international markets.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS has been licensed by M6 in France, Prosiebensat.1 Group in Germany, Channel 5 in the UK, RAI in Italy, Shaw in Canada, Network Ten in Australia (where it recently premiered as the #2 series of the night*), Fox International Channels in Asia and Prime TV in New Zealand. Exact airdates vary by country. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, a spinoff of NCIS, was the most-watched U.S. drama during premiere week, opening to more than 21 million viewers.** Its second broadcast retained an impressive 95% of its premiere week audience.

International broadcast networks that have licensed CSI: CYBER include Channel 5 in the UK, Media Group RTL in Germany, Bell in Canada, Network Ten in Australia, AXN in Latin America and Asia and Prime TV in New Zealand. CSI: CYBER takes a proven formula and gives it a fresh and relevant twist as it explores the dark world of online crime. The show is inspired on the real-life cutting-edge work of cyber psychologist Mary Aiken. CSI: CYBER is a spinoff of CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION, which has previously been named the most-watched drama in the world. CSI: CYBER is scheduled for a midseason premiere in the U.S.

"This year is incredibly special for us; to have two spinoffs of such iconic and internationally successful television franchises is phenomenal," said Armando Nuñez, President and CEO, CBS Global Distribution Group. "We are thrilled to partner with these international broadcasters and bring their loyal audiences the latest installments of NCIS and CSI."

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS is a drama about the local field office that investigates criminal cases involving military personnel in The Big Easy, a city known for its music, entertainment and decadence. Leading the team is Special Agent Dwayne Pride, aka "King," a native of New Orleans who is driven by his need to do what is right. Working with Pride is Special Agent Christopher LaSalle, who plays hard but works harder; and Special Agent Meredith "Merri" Brody, a charismatic and tough interrogator who transferred from the Great Lakes office in search of a fresh start. Supporting them is coroner Dr. Loretta Wade, who is as eccentric as she is smart, and her brilliant and quirky Forensic Scientist, Sebastian Lund. This colorful city that harbors a dark side is a magnet for service personnel on leave, and when overindulgence is followed by trouble, Pride's team is at its best. The series is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.

CSI: CYBER stars Emmy Award winner Patricia Arquette in a drama inspired by the advanced technological work of real-life Cyber Psychologist Mary Aiken. Special Agent Avery Ryan heads the Cyber Crime Division of the FBI, a unit at the forefront of solving illegal activities that start in the mind, live online, and play out in the real world. She also knows firsthand how today's technology allows people to hide in the shadows of the Internet and commit serious crimes of global proportion. Ryan's supervisor, Assistant Director Stavros Sifter, a career FBI insider, is the clearing house between FBI Cyber and all other branches of government. A shrewd networker, Sifter knows what goes on behind the closed doors of the U.S. government. Also on the team is FBI Agent Elijah Mundo, a self-proclaimed action junkie who is an expert in battlefield forensics; Daniel Krumitz, a socially introverted digital forensic tech who can find the needle in a cyber hackstack; and Brody Nelson, a gifted digital forensic tech who chose working for the FBI over a life of cyber-crime. While other agents search for criminals in dark homes and alleys, Ryan and her team search the "dark net," a place where criminals are anonymous, money is untraceable and where everything is for sale with just a keystroke. The series stars Patricia Arquette, James Van Der Beek, Peter MacNicol, Charley Koontz and Shad Moss. It is produced by CBS Television Studios in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television, with executive producers Carol Mendelsohn, Ann Donahue, Anthony E. Zuiker, Pam Veasey, Jerry Bruckheimer and Jonathan Littman. The series is distributed internationally by CBS Studios International.
