Cegid, a key player in the digital transformation of companies, will be present at the next Aircraft Interiors Middle East (AIME) and Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) aviation trade show in Dubai alongside Aerospace Valley, a Toulouse-based competitive cluster with international reach.

Cegid's participation in this trade show, a key event in the Middle East for aeronautical industry professionals, is in line with its aim to strengthen the visibility of its sectoral expertise, particularly in aeronautics. Cegid, a member of Aerospace Valley since December 2012, offers companies in the aeronautical sector an IT management solution dedicated exclusively to their needs, called Yourcegid Manufacturing Aeronautics.

As part of its effort to internationalize its presence in manufacturing over the past several years, which has so far included Italy, Spain, Romania, Turkey, Poland and Switzerland, Cegid is now addressing industry professionals in the United Arab Emirates, having opened offices there in 2013. More generally, Cegid wishes to strengthen its presence and to propose business-specific solutions in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the Sultanate of Oman.

Driss Iziki, Sales Manager Africa & Middle East at Cegid and participant at the trade show, said "Cegid has been present in Dubai since 2013. Its presence is a remarkable opportunity to gain proximity to businesses in the manufacturing market, particularly in the field of aeronautics, which is experiencing high growth in the Middle East. In this respect, the AIME MRO trade show in Dubai is an important event for Cegid's manufacturing business line, as it provides us an ideal opportunity to meet customers and prospects and introduce them to Yourcegid Manufacturing and in particular Yourcegid Manufacturing Aeronautics."

The solution is designed for all aeronautics professionals including 1st, 2nd and 3rd tier suppliers and subcontractors as well as for all areas of business, such as precision mechanics, fine sheet metal work, metal castings, plastics and aeronautical wiring. The agile solution is designed to adapt to changes in the aeronautical industry and caters to companies' needs for managing Sales, Procurement, Production, Quality and Traceability.

Yourcegid Manufacturing solutions are now used by more than 2,300 customers, including AD Industries, Sopremeca and Titeflex Europe.

Sponsored by EADS France and Liebherr-Aerospace, Cegid has been a member of Aerospace Valley since December 2012 and belongs to the "small and medium-sized enterprises" group.
