Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S/A ("Company" or "Eletrobras") hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, further to the Market Announcement of March 6, 2015, the Superintendency of Economic and Financial Supervision ("SFF"), ANEEL internal body, issued the Audit Report no 0084/2016-SFF relating to the not amortized and/or not depreciated transmission assets of the subsidiary Companhia Hidro Elétrica do São Francisco ("CHESF"), existing on May 31, 2000, in which the SFF submitted its first understanding concerning the amount of the expected indemnity pursuant to Article 15, paragraph 2 of Law No. 12,783/13, at which the CHESF is entitled to receive, in the amount of R$ 5,092.4 million, on the base-date of December 31, 2012.
The Audit Report is still subject to approval by the Board of ANEEL.
The Company will keep the market informed on the subject matter in this Market Announcement.
