Sinopec Group President Mr. Wang Tianpu Attended the 8th National Oil Company Forum

The 8thNational Oil Company Forum was hosted by Ecopetrol, the Colombian national oil company and attended by CEOs or senior representatives of 26 national oil companies. The participants had extensive and in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics such as the changes in energy mix, relations with the community, the environment and the government and the future of national oil companies in the new environment. 


During the Forum, Sinopec Group President Mr. Wang Tianpu met respectively with Javier Gutierrez, CEO of Ecopetrol, Jose Cosenza, Chief Downstream Officer of Petrobras and Winston Watson, Acting General Manager of the Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica. They discussed topics on expanding bilateral cooperation.

After the Forum, Wang Tianpu visited Brazil where he met with Regina Chambriard, General Director of ANP and discussed strengthening upstream cooperation in Brazil. Mr. Wang also listened to the work reports of Sinopec's branches in the USA, Colombia and Brazil and visited overseas employees.
