For the period from January to February 2017, the coal sales volume of the Company increased by 62.4% year-on-year, mainly due to lower coal sales volume from January to February last year resulting from factors including the progress on contract negotiation and
downstream demand; while the total power output dispatch of the Company increased by 8.4% year-on-year, mainly attributable to: firstly, an increase of power generation of coal-fired power generating units resulting from a year-on-year increase of electricity consumption throughout the society and a year-on-year decrease of hydropower generation; secondly, the Company's intensifying marketing efforts and its efforts to increase power generation, as well as an increase in installed capacity of power generators.

The factors giving rise to such differences include, without limitation to, changes in weather, equipment overhaul, seasonal factors, and safety checkup and so on.
