Chorus' Christchurch network operating asnormal

Chorus has carried out a thorough assessment of its fixed line network following the 5.7 earthquake in Christchurch today.

The network is operating asnormal however it will continued to be assessed to ensure there are no issues.

Chorus' Christchurch buildings are continuing to be assessed.

Chorus Limited is a New Zealand-based fixed line communications infrastructure business. The Company maintains and builds a network predominantly made up of fiber and copper cables, local telephone exchanges and cabinets. The Companyâs product portfolio encompasses a range of wholesale broadband, data and voice services across a mix of regulated and commercial products. Its products include fiber broadband, copper-based broadband, fiber premium (point-to-point), copper-based voice, field services products, value-added network services, infrastructure, data services over copper and others. The Company works with phone and broadband providers to keep New Zealanders connected through a range of products and services. It has one wholly owned Subsidiary, Chorus New Zealand Limited (CNZL).
