Today, Coca-Cola European Partners was named one of the Most Sustainable Corporations in the World in a list announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos - we were ranked at 48 in the global list of 100 most sustainable companies. We are very proud of this achievement, which is a reflection of the work we have done to put sustainability at the very heart of our new business.

The 2017 Global 100 Index of the Most Sustainable Corporations in the World is published by Corporate Knights, a Canadian sustainability ratings and research company. It recognises businesses that have shown a strong performance across a number of key areas - including carbon, water and waste, supply chain impact, innovation, safety and employee turnover.

We were selected from an initial group of over 4,900 listed companies and are one of only two beverage companies to be included, with Diageo listed at 64. Other companies in this year's Global 100 include Siemens AG at number one, Marks and Spencer at 32 and L'Oreal at 38. The full Global 100 Index is available to view here.

As we continue our work in well-being, energy and climate, water stewardship, and sustainable packaging and agriculture, we hope to improve our ranking further in future years. We know that collaboration is absolutely essential as we strive for sustainability leadership, so working with our customers, suppliers and stakeholders remains a key focus.
